What is a multiple of 5?

A multiple of 5 is any number that can be evenly divided by 5. This means that when you divide a multiple of 5 by 5, you will get a whole number with no remainder. For example, 10, 15, 20, 25, and so on are all multiples of 5 because they can be divided by 5 without any remainder. Multiples of 5 appear regularly in our everyday lives, such as the number of fingers on each hand (which is a multiple of 5) and the number of days in a work week (5 days).
